 In Central America, Grupo Golan offers a dedicated division that provides exclusive armed protection for convoys of maritime cargo containers.
The service known as Servicio Trans Frontierzo, or STF, is the only one of its kind in the region. STF convoys may cross up to seven borders and at each crossing a new team of Grupo Golan guards for that country completes a handshake exchange at the border and continues onward to their destination.
All convoys are tracked through Grupo Golan’s security monitoring center in Guatemala City. STF gives shippers exclusive access to web-based data allowing them to view convoy progress on their own computer screen.
