Position:
Sales Manager - X-ray Screening Machines
General Statement of Duties:
The X-ray Inspection Equipment Sales Manager will
be directly responsible for establishing and managing
key business relationships with various Government
and Commercial client agencies as well as with
key technology partners. The primary objective
in this role is to plan and execute the development
of a strategically broad and deep sales campaign
for the company's X-ray inspection equipment.
The successful candidate must have a strong
background in sales of X-ray equipment with a
verifiable successful equipment sales track record
in either the Commercial Non-Destructive Testing
Sector or the Security Screening Sector.
Principle Activities/Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, propose, negotiate and
close deals.
- Use your existing client list to develop account
selling strategies for the company's X-ray inspection
equipment. (see current product line at www.xrayit.com)
- Assist with developing business models to
analyze target market segments.
- Define product and service solutions that
are necessary to fulfill customer unique requirements.
- Drive relationship-building process at multiple
levels including at the senior executive levels.
- Analyze performance of accounts and report
results.
- As required, support executive team in complex
contract negotiations.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- An Associates Degree with courses in business
and marketing is a must, a Bachelor's Degree
in Marketing, Finance, or Business is desired.
- 5+ years of business development success
and in-depth experience with use of X-ray inspection
systems.
- Prior sales experience and a proven record
of sales with X-ray inspection systems with
an established high profile client network is
a must.
- Candidate should have a demonstrated ability
to manage and grow sales account relationships
with experience developing marketing plans in
the X-ray systems market sector.
- Strong analytic skills. Must be able to think
on your feet and work with complex deal structures
with multiple variables.
- Superior communication skills, including presentations,
phone and e-mail.
- Must be a true team player, able to share
responsibility for key decision-making with
a team, while accepting responsibility to drive
internal decision-making process.
- Must be a US Citizen.
