Scope
Management Assessment
Golan Group's Scope Management Assessment is an identification
of requirements, deliverables and an establishment of
understanding and agreement between Insight and the
customer regarding project requirements. It is a facilitated
strategy session designed to develop your detailed management
objectives. Scope Management Assessment is structured
to provide documented and measurable objectives based
upon your business and overall security needs and targeted
solution areas.
Quality Management
The Quality Management function defines detailed performance
requirements that are closely monitored to guarantee
that strict security standards are adhered to. Our total
quality management (TQM) approach is an integrated top-to-bottom,
continuous improvement program. We apply systematic
procedures to delivery order planning and execution
using customer feedback to assure quality, technical
accuracy, cost effectiveness, and schedule adherence
for all products/services.
Our corporate TQM philosophy, which permeates the entire
organization, is one that guarantees quality results
the first time with a goal of continuous improvement
for single or multiple delivery orders. This continuous
process improvement means consistency in the final product.
Resource and Schedule Management
Resource Management functions are used to determine
the required procedures necessary for a timely, cost-effective,
use and allocation of resources, and to provide a quality
implementation plan. Having planned and coordinated
your scope and detailed performance requirements, Golan
Group then creates a schedule of the required security
events to encompass all deliverables and resources required
within the scope of the specific security project.
Risk Management
During the planning phase, the project team documents
potential risk areas associated with the project effort,
evaluates possible ramifications and prepares contingency
plans for each risk scenario. The team isolates the
areas of risk by looking at schedule risks, resource
risks, and scope risks. The purpose of assessing risk
is to make the organization aware of all those "known
unknown" conditions or factors that could jeopardize
a successful project and to have a backup plan for any
potential outcome.
Security Communication Management
Effective communication is vital to the success of any
security project, regardless of the size. How information
flows through the organization and stakeholders is critical.
The Security Communication Management Plan is the document
that defines what form all project communication will
take, how it will be transmitted, its frequency, to
whom it is transmitted and how communications overall
will be managed.
Procurement and Cost Management
The project management team, working closely with client
procurement personnel, defines how the project will
acquire security related goods and services from outside
the client organization. The Golan Group team will facilitate
all third-party contract administration and contract
closeout procedures to assure a successful project.
During the planning phase, the team engages in processes
to ensure that the project completes within the targets
established time frame and within budget tolerance.
Cost management is achieved through effective resource
planning, accurate cost estimating and budgeting and
continuous cost control.
Golan Group's project management services are
an effective balance of proven methodology and professional
technical expertise to keep your security technology
projects on time and on track.
