| Basic Design |
Fixed system characterized by arch design. A heavy-duty traction motor at the base of each arch electrically propels the arch along an 80-foot parallel track. A 10-degree offset on each arch allows the x-ray scan to examine the front and rear panels of each cargo container, thus giving a complete view of the top, bottom, sides and end panels. |
